The Denon reference to a heat sink. However, Onkyo, Harmon Kardon, or Yahama Reference Series is in the same price class as good. Discover the general characteristics of the dollar's value against the decision. Some of these receivers have features that you never use and could be paid at the end of hundreds of $ $ $ $ more. Andi is right you will see a model and compare apples with pears. (Although the 2807 is a newer model than the 3806) If you can save a few dollars and get the same results, you can save $ $ $ $ on the quality of audiophile speakers. AVR3808CI is the latest version of the AVR3806 and is very good. It's kind of expensive and I did not want to hear what the speakers are connected to A. The April 2808 is also very good and I will do almost anything will do to the 3808, except for the power connector. Yamaha RXV1800 is fantastic.
DENON. Nothing can replace it! Denon first of my father still works and has over 12 years! His second is the power of 5.1 M & K speakers, THX Select, sure. that is 8 years. As soon as I am, I could afford (23 and) even a girl, I bought a Denon 2807, and can not stop listening to it too! Denon is AWESOME! Did you know that almost 100 years ago in Japan and the name given to Denon does "Electric Sound"? and never with an incredible warranty (as opposed to coming breaks!). In addition to the automatic calibration function is so accurate it scares me!
Go to the Yamaha or Pioneer Elite, both have a large number of HDMI, optical, etc. ..... To 7.1
The new Yamaha is more expensive to 12.1 surround.
Kenwood THX also good for a cheaper price.
