Cranberries In Stools Why A Maroon Steak In My Stool?

Why a maroon steak in my stool? - cranberries in stools

I am 44 years and every few months or so I have a dark brown stripe on my chair. (Perhaps this is as rare as every 6 months.) In a last physical they found blood in the stool and saw a specialist who said that was the cause of internal hemmoroids. Anyway, this is caused by the consumption of cranberry sauce? I seem to remember that the cranberry have generally one or two days before it happens.

It's more like diverticulosis or intusseption. Cranberry sauce has nothing to do with it.
You should call your doc and ask for a sample with a brown chair.

If you have blood in the stool, it can be said for the color. The blood from the stomach or upper (esophagus, mouth, or even eat a sausage or a nosebleed) is usually dark and black. Normally it is tacky and what is generally described as a black tarry stools. The blood just behind the stomach is not so dark. Maroon blood usually comes in the colon. Bright red blood is usually the anus - either a trauma, a tear or hemorrhoids.

These are general guidelines for a small amount of blood. The bleeding quickly and stimulates the bowels and leads through much faster. It can not be digested and quickly Beeding ulcer may be very red and shiny. The fact that you show a line that the source into the anus. An internal hemorrhoids, as his doctor. Blood from the top is usually mixed with the stool.
